Checkame Terms of Use

These terms govern the use of the iOS and Android app "Checkame" (the "App") provided by CIZMO Inc. ("we"). By installing or using the App you agree to these terms.

1. The service

The App reads dates, numbers and similar details from screenshots and images on your smartphone (iPhone or Android device), adds them to Calendar and Reminders after your confirmation, and points out inconsistencies between bookings. Results are assistive and not guaranteed to be accurate. Always confirm bookings, payments and boarding details with the original provider.

2. Your data

The App does not store your plans, memos or other data on our servers, except that while "Help improve recognition" is on, screenshots with personal information masked as far as possible and reading results are stored. See the Privacy Policy.

3. Points

Points are an in-app benefit granted for correcting reading results. They have no monetary value and cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash. The contents and conditions of the Point Shop are set by us and may change or end without notice. Points are valid for one year from the date they are granted and expire after that.

4. Third-party services

Google integration and Sign in with Apple are optional. Their use is subject to each provider's terms. We are not responsible for outages or changes in third-party services.

5. Prohibited conduct

Reverse engineering, modifying or attacking the App
Reading or sharing images that infringe others' rights
Obtaining points fraudulently

6. Disclaimer

Except in cases of our willful misconduct or gross negligence, we are not liable for damages arising from reading errors, delayed notifications or third-party outages, including missed payment deadlines or lapsed bookings.

7. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in the App or on this page.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The Tokyo District Court has exclusive jurisdiction in the first instance.
